SITAN DCH series magnetic thickness tool (MTT) is used to detect the thickness variation of the casing wall in the downhole, and the damage of the casing can be investigated through the change of thickness, which mainly has the following applications:
(1) Investigate the metal loss of casing wall and outer wall.
(2) Measure the absolute thickness of the casing.
(3) High quality 3D view can be provided to directly observe the casing damage.
(4) The wall thickness loss can be detected at the point and gradient.
The sensor array of SITAN DCH series magnetic thickness tool is composed of 16 (12) independent sensors. Each sensor can get a curve of casing thickness, which can measure both the thickness and damage of the inner tube and thickness of the outer tube.
The SITAN DCH series magnetic thickness tool (MTT) can be used with the SITAN multi-finger caliper together to do the comprehensive interpretation of the assessment of casing damage. With hooking up SITAN SCL CNC logging system and Warrior CNC logging system to complete the data collection.
