In the realm of oil field development and maintenance, breakers are indispensable. They are endowed with formidable abilities in demulsification, dispersion, and dissolution, which are essential for tackling well blockages, boosting oil well productivity, and enhancing the overall operational efficiency of oil fields. Additionally, oilfield breakers are instrumental in the management of oilfield wastewater.
To overcome the difficulties associated with the initial viscosity reduction and subsequent inefficiency of breakers in hydraulic fracturing fluids, an encapsulation technique for breakers has been devised. This process involves applying a water-resistant coating, such as polymers or paraffin, to the surface of breaker powders. This coating serves as a barrier against water intrusion and prevents the premature disintegration and release of the breaker during the fracturing operation. Through this encapsulation, the objective of retarding the demulsification process is realized.
