The DC drilling rig mobile box grid power system is powered by a transformer connected to the power grid, and the main loads include: mud pump, rotary table/winch, top drive, and auxiliary equipment, which are nonlinear load devices. Due to the low power factor and high reactive power during production and operation, the system current fluctuates more frequently. And the harmonic current is also large. Therefore, dynamic reactive power compensation and harmonic suppression devices are adopted to improve the power quality of the power supply system and ensure the safe operation of power supply equipment.
The DC drilling oil conversion system consists of an input 10KV/6KV high-voltage switch, which is transformed into a 600V low-voltage power supply through a transformer for use by the DC drilling rig. The transformer also outputs an auxiliary winding 400V power supply for use in the tank or camp area. On the transformer output 600V bus, four sets of borderless filtering automatic switching systems are connected in parallel to improve the power factor and suppress harmonics of the entire power supply system.
